Preparation


TO THAW AND SERVE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE IN COVERED PACKAGE OR CLOSED STORAGE UNIT:

  1. Whole Cake: About 5-5 1/2 hours
  2. Slices, Plated: About 1-1 1/2 hours

TO SERVE:

  1. Remove packaging from cake.
  2. Flatten tray; pull long sides down first.
  3. Use portion guides on parchment paper to cut 24, 30, 36, 42 portions; cut only needed amount. Serve.

TO HEAT AND SERVE:

  1. Preheat convection or conventional oven to 350ºF.
  2. Remove packaging; flatten tray.
  3. Release FROZEN cake from tray, place on sheet pan; Heat:
  4. Conventional: 25 minutes if frozen; 10 minutes if room temperature.
  5. Convection: 10 minutes if frozen; 5 minutes if room temperature.

MICROWAVE THAWING: 1 FROZEN PIECE (30-36 PORTION) ON MICROWAVE-SAFE PLATE:

  1. 1000 Watt: 15 seconds on High.
  2. 1400 Watt: 10 seconds on High.
  3. Let rest 2-3 minutes before serving.
